gatherings
Gatherings mean people getting together to share what they hold in common - and some of what they don't hold in common.
We believe passionately in the strength of linking together for mutual support, learning and celebration. Solitude while beautiful and safe some of the time is not the natural human condition.
In particular we are all living through tough times, full of bullying, contempt, and denial of freedom. To do better than merely survive we need each other's shared resources and fun.
Of course there are problems with differences when people come together. But with skill, effort and some patience, these can almost always be solved. One important factor is having clear guidelines on what is expected of us.
House Morgain gathers people together who are connected through different things:
Celtic traditions, Earth Spirituality, Circlework, Goddessing, Freedom Politics, Green Politics, Interfaith, History, Craftwork, Family and Clan - and more.

House Gatherings
These are weekend gatherings where people we know are invited to visit.
Our acquaintance with you might be previously online, or we might have met in person.
If you're not sure if you know us well enough to come to a Gathering, please do ask about it. If we don't know you we'll talk about how we can get to know each other better.
Dates for the Gatherings are given out on the Forum and on the Email list.
The weekend is not a residential course though we do include some events like storytelling, a talk or craft demonstration.
There is usually a Circlework ritual on the Saturday evening and guests bring food and drink to share for the Feast.
Arrivals Friday or Saturday.
Last arrivals Saturday 3pm.
Departures midnight Saturday (local guests) Sunday midday (non-local guests or locals who just want to stay!
A Gathering can include guests of any age from babies to elders.

We have other ways of doing Gatherings too.
VISITS These help each individual Guest to link with us as a family, to our Clan and then to other Guests.
RETREATS These help you go deeper into connection with us and our Clan, as well as your own beliefs.
A group Retreat helps you connect more with others on that Retreat, as well as us.

Midwinter Darklight Retreat
COURSES help you get to know others on the course, who are often part of our Clan, as well as deepening knowledge and skill.
CAMPS These help us connect to each other outdoors in nature.
ONLINE COMMUNITY Our online gatherings are
