triskele symbol a triadic spiral much loved by the Celts What is "Workfee?" This is a very big project - it's an ENORMOUS House, and we want it to be yours, doing it together with us. Not just a money transaction where you pay for a product.
We also want to prevent money being a barrier to people coming here.
So you 'pay' by giving a little help back to the House.
There are also tiny fees to cover our costs if you visit longer than 12 hours.

You give back to the House by doing a small job to help the House.
How much you do depends on how long you stay.

How you do your workfee depends on what you can do, and what needs to be done. Many things needed are simple everyday things.

We have a fair bit of experience in including someone in work time who cannot walk, or has partial vision, or limited energy etc. Everyone has limits in one way or another. whether disability or range of skillsor both. But everyone has abilities and skills. We'll carefully discuss what suits you before you come.

Some jobs are sitting down, some are active. Whatever your physical condition or skills you can do something to help for a short time.
Think of it if you like as coming to stay with friends so you help a bit with what they are doing at the time.

EXAMPLE VISITS & RETREATS showing how workfee helps keep costs ridiculously low or even make your visit or retreat free.
You can also arrange to pay part of a Course cost with workfee.

triskele symbol a triadic spiral much loved by the Celts Everyone who helps with the House is invited to contribute to the community WATER MURAL in the Temple. This is very simple, just add some wiggles or a small patch of colour to the existing wall – we provide little pots of paint. We are all creating this unique work of art TOGETHER so it gradually changes over time.

triskele symbol a triadic spiral much loved by the Celts Alcohol. We do not support blotted out boozing but we do understand and enjoy drinking in good fellowship. The way we ensure we get what is fun without the problems is this.
You can bring alcohol with you or buy it nearby. But it's only to be consumed at the lunch table, or after 6pm.
In the case of any ritual
there is no alcohol used before or during, until the Cup has passed round once at the end of a Circle.
triskele symbol a triadic spiral much loved by the Celts We reserve the right to ask any Guest to leave the House immediately if we feel their actions are spoiling things for others, or may cause a risk to us, or the House, or other Guests. We would normally warn someone first in a friendly way that we do not want a certain action to continue. Occasionally this is not possible to do.
The judgement of an Elder of the House is final at that time, though the Guest concerned may request a discussion about it later after the Retreat is over.
